This painting is part of the “Shape of Light” series that celebrates the reflection of light in unexpected patterns and exciting colors. I started with the idea of a seaside vista, and then pushed out the boundaries of form to create a deconstructed world with the land, the water, and the sky as crystallized images, fragile and delicate, where light takes new shape, even brighter, bolder, and stronger than before. The colors and shapes in these pieces reflect a delicate balance and harmony with nature. These works serve as a reminder that we can have balance if we keep all the beautiful and essential components together.
